“The Galaxy Note 8 will allegedly be slightly larger than the Galaxy S8, and will feature dual rear cameras”
Samsung’s upcoming flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 8, has been the subject of a number of leaks and reports lately. Ahead of the unveiling, quite a few details regarding the phone’s design and specs have been leaking from time to time. Now, the South Korean media has revealed some information regarding phone’s launch date.
The Korea Herald and the news portal Naver suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled in the third or fourth week of August. Citing an unnamed Samsung official, Naver suggests that the phone will be unveiled on August 26th at an event in New York. As per the Korea Herald, the brand initially planned to unveil the new Note at IFA in the first week of September. However, now the company has moved the launch up by a week.
As per Naver’s report, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature a curved screen, which will be marginally larger than the 6.2-inch Galaxy S8. The phone will arrive with two rear cameras. Unfortunately, the Samsung official didn’t reveal anything else regarding the device. While the Galaxy Note 8’s launch is around two months away, the brand is expected to launch the refurbished Galaxy Note FE next month.
