New Zelda Game Gets Official Title

During its Treehouse Live presentation at E3 2016, Nintendo has officially announced the full title for its upcoming Wii U and NX Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is Nintendo’s only playable game at E3 this year “in order to provide attendees a complete immersion.”

Breath of the Wild was originally scheduled to launch for Wii U in 2015. The game was initially delayed to give its development team more time to realize “several new possibilities” for the game. Now, Breath of the Wild is scheduled to launch on both Wii U and Nintendo’s upcoming NX platform at an unspecified date in 2017.
